Requirements of Position
Proven Food and Beverage/Restaurant Management experience. (3-5 years)- Diploma, Degree or any Culinary/Hospitality related qualification (Advantageous)
- Good Management and training
- Solid back of house and Front of house experience
- Communication and leadership skills
- Up to date with Food and Beverages trends
- Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets
- Guest-oriented and service-minded
- Strong leader
- Self-motivated-with the ability to work without supervision
- Must be willing to work and leave after hours shifts start 7:30 - late
- Own reliable transport
Responsibilities of Position
Managing Food and Beverage operations, while operating within budget and to the highest possible standards- Leading the F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel
- Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
- Menu design, costing and implementation in collaboration with the Exec Chef
- Stock control and policy implementation
- Purchasing of goods and continuously making improvements
- Identify customer’s needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns.
- Establishing targets, KPI’s, schedules, policies and procedures
- Good communication with employees, management and clients
- Comply with all health and safety regulations (HAACP)
- Monthly reporting to management on revenue and overall performance
