Under the direction of the Department Chair, the Assistant Professor - Nursing will: design and teach courses in nursing (didactic and clinical/lab); plan, ! prepare and follow an approved course of study with measurable objectives for each course taught; and engage in other activities in support of teaching/learning and program development (e.g., curriculum development, accreditation).
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited program with a Master of Nursing and at least two years of clinical nursing experience. Educational preparation in curriculum and instruction or three years of experience teaching in an accredited nursing education program (Doctorate desirable).
Experience in pediatrics preferred.
