The Pediatric Patient Care Tech (PCT) is a vital part! of the patient care team providing care and comfort to patients and families under the direction of the nursing staff. In this position you will utilize and develop your clinical skills to ensure a positive patient experience. Your valuable skills will be utilized by taking patient vital signs, preparing patient rooms for admission, preparing patients for procedures and transporting them within the facility. In this role, you will be providing excellent care to a more acute patient population.

This position will work for the Children's Medical Unit at Primary Children's Medical Center as well as the Children's Unit at Riverton Hospital. Candidates must be able to work at both facilities.

This is a Full-time, benefits eligible position. This position will work 36 hrs/wk, 3-12 hours shifts, rotating days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Minimum Requirements

Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Certification OR current enrollment in an accredited! nursing school with successful completion of first clinical r! otation

This position requires verifiable current Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR certification. An original card must be verified prior to start date or the job offer will be withdrawn. For additional information regarding CPR requirements please visit our Job Requirements Page .

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

Physical Requirements

Carrying, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pushing/Pulling, Seeing, Speaking, Standing, and Walking

Preferred Qualifications

Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) experience or applicable healthcare experience.

Acute/Hospital CNA experience.

Pediatric CNA experience.

Current enrollment in nursing school

Basic computer skills
