Direct Response Media Group (DRMG) is Canada's largest direct mail marketing company and a Canada Post Smart Mail Partner. At DRMG, we specialize in helping small and medium sized clients grow their business with market leading advertising services.

We are expanding our operations and are looking for an Administrative Sales Assistant to join our team in the Halifax Regional Municipality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is responsible for client invoicing functions, so experience working with Xero or a similar online bookkeeping/accounting system will be an asset.

Beyond light bookkeeping duties, the Administrative Sales Assistant will serve as an outreach worker to existing clients, helping the Sales team by:

- Communicating with existing customers to secure continuing sales and maintain strong customer relationships;

- Consulting with clients to develop unique strategies to help them grow their business; and

- Ongoing communication with the Account Services team to ensure the customers' needs are met.

- Other activities as assigned.

The ideal candidate is friendly, energetic, highly organized, and able to work independently as part of a large virtual team.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

- Ability to interact and communicate with a diverse group of people;

- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships;

- Excellent interpersonal skills, and communication skills, both oral and written;

- Highly organized in prioritizing work and multi-tasking; and

- Strong ability to work independently to efficiently manage assigned tasks.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 - 20 per week

Salary: $17.00-$25.00 per hour

  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
