Location: Salt Lake City, Utah

Description: Intermountain Home Care is at the momment seeking for Pediatric Patient Care Tech - Children's Medical Unit right now, this job will be presented in Utah. The Pediatric Patient Care Tech (PCT) for the Children's Medical Unit is a vital part of the patient care team! providing care and comfort to patients and families under the direction of the nursing staff. In this position you will utilize and develop your clinical skills to ensure a positive patient experience. Your valuable skills will be utilized by taking patient vital signs, preparing patient rooms for admission, preparing patients for procedures and transporting them within the facility. In this role, you will be providing excellent care to a more acute patient population.

This is a Part-time, 24hr/wk, benefits eligible position. This position will work 2 - 12/hr shifts per week. Shifts will be rotating days, nights, weekends and holidays. Shifts are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. or 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Minimum Requirements

Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Certification OR current enrollment in an accredited nursing school with successful completion of first clinical rotation

This position requires verifiable current Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescue! r CPR certification. An original card must be verified prior t! o start date or the job offer will be withdrawn. For additional information regarding CPR requirements please visit our Job Requirements Page .

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

Physical Requirements

Carrying, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pushing/Pulling, Seeing, Speaking, Standing, and Walking

Preferred Qualifications

Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) experience or applicable healthcare experience

Acute hospital CNA experience.

Pediatric CNA experience.

Current enrollment in nursing school

Basic computer skills
