Befor! e the hospital was built, residents of Davis County had to travel to Ogden or Salt Lake City for hospital services. With Davis, local residents have convenient access to expert medical services close by and always available.Since opening, Davis has grown, right along with the community. As the hospital added services and upgraded its facilities, it kept pace with the increasing healthcare needs of this growing area.
Currently, the hospital is constructing a threeâ€"story tower addition. The $36.2 million expansion includes 67 additional beds, a brand new 14â€"bed Intensive Care Unit, a Women's Surgical Services Unit, and expanded pediatric, medical/surgical and other inpatient services. The expansion will include a conversion of semiâ€"private hospital rooms to private suites. Completion of the beautiful tower addition is scheduled for spring of 2009.Our people are the heart of the Davis Hospital.

The m! edical staff includes physicians who practice in nearly every specialty and we're proud to provide a wide range of healthcare services. Registered NurseWill work 5:00 a.m. â€"5:00 p.m.or 5:00 p.m.
â€" 5:00 a.m.shifts with rotating weekends.Provide direct patient care. Provide assessment and planning for individualized patient care. Communicate with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
