Cheyenne Regional Medical Center is located in picturesque Cheyenne, WY. About the Hospital
Cheyenne Regional Medical Center is Wyomings largest healthcare system. Licensed at 218 beds, Cheyenne Regional was originally founded in 1867 as a frontier tent hospital. The Medical Center was the first Level II Trauma Center and offers specialties which include a Cancer Center, Heart Center, Orthopedics, Neurological, Vascular and Bariatric Services. Recently went live with EPIC. The hospital has also recently redesigned its Shared Governance model and contemplating a Magnet ! Journey.
About the Position
Position reports to t! he Director of Trauma and Emergency Services. The ER is doing 40K visits. Oversees 61 FTEs, the ED, the Clinical Decision Unit, and the Transfer Center. A new state of the art ED is opening in October 2013 which will double the size of the ED from 16 to 36 beds, 8 of which are fast track beds.
Compensation: $80-100K along with benefits to include health, dental, vision, life insurance, retail discounts, and health and fitness membership.
Requirements: BSN required, Masters preferred. 3+ years of ER experience, 1+ years of management experience.
Location: This location offers a multitude of outdoor activities. The economy in this area is thriving. Enjoy lots of fun little shops and restaurants. Take a weekend grip to Yellowstone National Park.
