The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides extraordinary care and tr! eatment to patients in the pediatric setting. The NP is accountable for delivering optimal patient care through effective clinical practice, educating patient and patient's family members by answering their questions, and providing comfort and support. This NP professional works in collaboration with other members of the Pediatrics team and interdisciplinary providers to assess, diagnose and determine a plan to ensure proper and complete patient care. Other responsibilities could include: Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' health care condition and needs. The Pediatric NP utilizes advanced specialty knowledge to ensure that exceptional care is provided in an appropriate, effective, timely and cost-efficient manner.
Entry Rate: Depends on experience

Shift Details: This is a part-time, benefits-eligible position. Must be available to work Monday, Thursday and Fri! day from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Days off in the week may vary.!

Minimum Requirements
Current state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Eligible for state Controlled Substance License II through V
Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II through V

Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in Pediatrics
Applicable certification from a recognized certifying organization such as American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
Master's degree or higher
