Primary Children's Medical Center offers rehabilitation services at several Intermountain Healthcare sites throughout Utah. This position works in Ogden as pa! rt of the Primary Children's Medical Center outpatient team. Our team includes specialists licensed in audiology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, rehabilitation medicine and speech therapy.

All sites offer diagnostic testing and treatment for children. We serve children ages 0-21 with injuries and illness, physical challenges, speech, language and cognitive delays, development delays, hearing loss, and other conditions that affect the daily activities most children enjoy. Each therapy program is planned to meet the unique needs of each child. We rely on the child and their primary caregiver to prioritize the plan of care and we require a parent or primary caregiver to take part in the therapy program. Teaching skills to use at home and in the community to parents is as important as the skills and practice the child receives in therapy.

A Physical Therapist (P.T.) coordinates with other health care professionals working towards Intermountain Healthcare's healing commitment to produce the best possible outcomes for patients. A Physical Therapist is an essential part of the healing team that is engaged in the process of evaluating and treating patients. They design, implement and continuously modify and adapt Physical Therapy programs for each patient according to assessments and goals desired. They educate patients and families regarding proper rehab methods and techniques. They are able to have a positive impact and make a difference to those they serve.

Entry Rate: E ntry is $29.68 an hour, salary commensur! ate with experience

Shift Details: Part-time position working 24 hours per week. Incumbent will work three 8-hour shifts from 10 : 00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m .
Department: Outpatient Rehab, Primary Children's Medical Center
Additional Details: Ogden outpatient clinics located at McKay-Dee Stewart Rehab Center

Minimum Requirements

Licensure by the State of Utah to practice as a Physical Therapist or license eligible or will have completed the program requirements within the current semester making you license eligible. New grads will be considered.
