The Pediatric Patient Care Tech (PCT) for the Rapid Treatment Unit at Primary Children's Medical Center is a vital part of ! the patient care team providing care and comfort to patients and families under the direction of the nursing staff. In this position you will utilize and develop your clinical skills to ensure a positive patient experience. Your valuable skills will be utilized by taking patient vital signs, preparing patient rooms for admission, preparing patients for procedures and transporting them within the facility. In this role, you will be providing excellent care to a more acute patient population.
This is a Part-time, benefits eligible position, working 24hrs/wk. This position will work day shifts 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., rotating days of the week.
Minimum Requirements
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Certification OR current enrollment in an accredited nursing school with successful completion of first clinical rotation
This position requires verifiable current Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR certification. An original card must be veri! fied prior to start date or the job offer will be withdrawn. F! or additional information regarding CPR requirements please visit our Job Requirements Page .
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Physical Requirements
Carrying, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pushing/Pulling, Seeing, Speaking, Standing, and Walking
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) experience.
Acute Hospital based CNA experience.
Pediatric CNA experience.
Basic computer skills
