Primary Children's Medical Center offers rehabilitation services at several Int! ermountain Healthcare sites throughout Utah. This position works at Primary Children's Medical Center as part of the inpatient team. Our team includes specialists licensed in audiology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, rehabilitation medicine and speech therapy.

All sites offer diagnostic testing and treatment for children. We serve children ages 0-21 with injuries and illness, physical challenges, speech, language and cognitive delays, development delays, hearing loss, and other conditions that affect the daily activities most children enjoy. Each therapy program is planned to meet the unique needs of each child. We rely on the child and their primary caregiver to prioritize the plan of care and we require a parent or primary caregiver to take part in the therapy program. Teaching skills to use at home and in the community to parents is as important as the skills and practice the child receives in therapy.

An experienced Occupational Therapist (O.T.) is a licensed valued team member who coordinates with other health care professionals by striving to provide Intermountain Healthcare's healing commitment to produce the best possible outcomes for patients.

An O.T. is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of patients. The O.T. utilizes technology, therapeutic intervention, and coordinates care with other dedicated health team members.

Entry Rate: entry is $29.68 an hour, salary commensurate with experience
Benefits Eligible: No
Shift Details: PRN position, with no guaranteed hours. Need availability to cover vacation time, sick calls and high census. Shifts include Monday through Friday and Saturday, no Sunday shifts. Shifts will be days, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Department: Inpatient Rehab for Primary Children's Medical Center
Additional Details: New grads will be considered for this position.

Minimum Requirements

A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Intermountain verifies both degree attainment and educational institution accreditation following an offer of employment.

Current Occupational Therapy license for practicing state or license eligible.

This position requires verifiable current Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR certification. An original card must be verified prior to start date or the job offer will be withdrawn. For additional information regarding CPR r! equirements please visit our Job Requirements Page .

A certifi! ed Occupational Therapist through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
