Pioneer Valley Hospital, West Valley, UT
Immediate need for BC/BE Pediatrician (Spanish language skills would be a definite plus) due to community need in an underserved market with only one pediatrician currently on staff. This will be a new position and an addition to practice group that is expected to grow quickly over next two years. Ideal candidate will have an interest in practice development and integration with an entrepreneurial propensity.

Employment opportunity with an outlying, large MS clinic â€" 18 specialties with 100+ physicians in the group. Practices are approximately 5-6 miles from hospital

Primarily an Outpatient opportunity with some inpatient to cover call for newborns and Level 2 nursery. All NICU go to Jordan Valley and covered by NICU team. JVH does not have a Peds floor. Peds patients are transferred to Pioneer Children’s Medical Center.

Current newborn volume is 30 per month with anticipated growth over next two years to reach 140+ deliveries per month. New Physician will be expected to perform all newborn care as well as normal pediatric outpatient care

Practice already has a great support staff in place and has NP’s on staff
Pioneer Valley Hospital is located in the northwest quadrant of the Salt Lake City market. This west side market consists of two IASIS hospital campuses, Pioneer Valley and Jordan Valley, and is the fastest growth area of Utah. Projections are for an increase in 15,000 households in next 5-10 years. The hospital community is cohesive and supportive of growth and development. The Salt Lake City area is a family-friendly environment and a great place to raise a family with an excellent public school system and clean, safe communities. There are a dozen ski resorts within an hour’s drive.
