The primary responsibility of the Packing role is finish the manufacturing process of products ensuring food safety and quality requirements while meeting the customers’ needs. The Packing may work with other departments, Quality, Safety, Maintenance, and Warehouse throughout the day.
The Packing role monitors the production process-flow by removeing finish products of the conveyors, packing in the box ,weighing up to 50lb, palletizing it on pallet at a rate of 10 or more cases per minute. Be able to operate electric pallet jack. Each packing material is visually inspected then placed into the box. Than box is taped and placeded on wooden pallet. Damage or faulty materials are discarded. Other regular duties performed on the line are weighing boxes with finish product, verifying date code, recording and scanning pallet information applying labels and assembling boxes.
Teamwork and communication in these areas areare a must for this area andas each operator is responsible for
keeping the line moving as per the production schedule.

- Be able to operate standard walkie equipment.
- Attend all Safety, Health and Environmental Training as required, and participate , Quality and Environmental Programs
- Ability to suggest methods for improving production or operating conditions, continuous improvement
- Participate on-the-job training and gain knowledge of equipment in your designated work area
- Read, understand, and follow manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures and special instructions
- Operate manufacturing equipment
- Follow and monitor all Food Safety and Quality control points and complete documentation for required quality checks
- Follow leads and supervisors’ instructions and be open to providing and receiving feedback for improvement
- Understand Job Safety Hazards and comply with department and plant Safety, GMP, Sanitation, Quality and Environmental policies and procedures
- Interact with other members of the team to ensure communication is effective and consistent
- Must adhere to site Hygienic Zoning policy
- Must be able to be trained in Lockout Tagout and can lock machinery out
- Other duties as assigned
