Pediatrician medical office is seeking a full-time, motivated medical coder/biller. Responsibilities include coding physician notes, checking physician documentation to ensure it meets ICD-9 and ICD-10 standards, creating and sending claims, claim follow-up, and assisting in processing payments from patients and insurance companies and setting up payment plans. May also include payment posting and A/R follow-up. Medical, dental, vision and life insurance plans, 401(k) plan, Flexible Spending Account and other great benefits are available.

Must be familiar with the medical claim process. Previous experience in coding/billing is a must, with experience accounts receivable, collections from insurance companies and patients, insurance follow-up, and/or insurance verification desired. Candidates must be proficient in both Word and Excel, be dependable, team oriented and responsible. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and is able to multi-task.
