Lineagen currently employs approximately 30 individuals who are dedicated to providing physicians and patients with a genetic testing, counseling and development screening service to aid in the early diagnostic evaluation of individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other disorders of childhood development. Our current clinical offering, FirstStepDx P! LUS, is an integrated service that combines customized, propri! etary chromosomal microarray (CMA) with comprehensive reporting and genetic counseling. Pediatricians in general and specialty practices across the United States order FirstStepDx PLUS to help guide diagnosis and medical management for their patients.
DUTIES
About the Position
We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our team and manage the accounting function. Duties of the position include daily oversight of the accounts payable process, cash reporting and oversight of outsourced accounting processes such as tax return preparers, payroll service, etc. The accounting manager will be responsible for the monthly closing of the financial statements including reconciling all balance sheet accounts, preparation and review of financial statements and management reporting. This position will be responsible for providing information to and coordinating with auditors in order to facilitate the annual audit and provide such information and finan! cial statements such that all are prepared in accordance with GAAP.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements
This position requires a CPA plus 3-5 years of experience with at least some experience in Public Accounting.
Applicants should be proficient in financial modeling and spreadsheet analysis.
