Description: Intermountain Healthcare is employing RN-Medical Imaging I right now, this occupation will be assigned in Utah. The Medical Imaging Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, educating and following up with patients in the Imaging Services Depar! tment. Specific responsibilities would include providing conscious sedation care, pharmacology, scrubbing in with the Radiologist and assisting with basic interventional procedures. Utilizing the nursing process, care is delivered in compliance with hospital policies and procedures, legal and regulatory standards. The RN impacts patients’ lives every day and truly makes a difference to those they serve.

Entry Rate: $23.98
Benefits Eligible: Yes
Shift Details: The shifts are day shift starting either at 7:00-1730 or 8:00 to 1830. The nurse is in a rotation to go to AFH and it is expected the nurse will be in the rotation for call at either AFH or UVRMC
Department: Imaging

Minimum Requirements

Current State Registered Nurse (RN) license

This position requires verifiable current Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR certification. An original card must be verified prior to start date or the! job offer will be withdrawn. For additional information regar! ding CPR requirements please visit our Job Requirements Page .

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification

Physical Requirements

Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Seeing, Standing

Preferred Qualifications

One or more years of critical care or Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) experience

Knowledge of basic x-ray procedures
