A Family Practice P.A. will execute all functions (permitted by licensure and credentialing) relating to the primary and urgent health care needs of families in the community under the supervision of a supervising physician. The P.A. delivers a high level of quality, professional, and operational performance for a large integrated healthcare system. The P.A. acts as an agent of the supervising physician in accordance with a jointly developed delegation of services agreement.
A skilled and customer service minded Family Practice P.A. will deliver a spectrum of services to patients through professional services by diagnosing, treating, advising or prescribing for any human disease, ailment, injury, infirmity, deformity, pain or other conditions dependent upon and under the supervision of a supervising physician.

Minimum Requirements
Current state license as a Physician Assistant
Eligible for state Controlled Substance License II through V
Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II through V
This position requires verifiable current Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR certification. An original card must be verified prior to start date or the job offer will be withdrawn. For additional information regarding CPR requirements please visit our Job Requirements Page .
Other certification as required (e.g. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP))

Preferred Qualifications
Applicable experience as defined by position leadership
Applicable certification from a recognized certifying organization such as the National Commission of Physician Assistants
