Currently, the hospital is constructing a threeâ€"story tower addition. The $36.2 million expansion includes 67 additional beds, a brand new 14â€"bed Intensive Care Unit, a Women's Surgical Services Unit, and expanded pediatric, medical/surgical and other inpatient services. The expansion will include a conversion of semiâ€"private hospital rooms to private suites. Respiratory TherapistWill work PRN or as needed.Provides Cardiopulmonary care services in accordance with specific physicians orders, departmental policies and procedures.Administers respiratory therapy treatments while understanding purpose of each and possible side affects.Sets up and monitors mechanical ventilators.Performs airway management and tracheal suctioning. Performs arterial punctures to obtain aterial blood gas analysis.
Performs EKG's. RequirementsRequires CRT and must possess a current Respiratory License in the State of Utah.BLS required.Current ACLS, PALS & NRP or to be completed within first year of employmentPreferencesNICU experience strongly preferred.Previous Respiratory Therapist experience desired.
