This is a multipurpose position in which duties range from carrying out basic patient care ! tasks as directed by a licensed therapist to overseeing a variety of operational activities for the department. The Rehab Aide will assist in ordering supplies, stocking linens, cleaning equipment and toys, and shopping for food for feeding therapy. They play a valuable role in helping therapist be more efficient and keeping the patient area safe and clean.

Entry Rate: $10.08
Benefits Eligible: No
Shift Details: Scheduled for 10 hours a week. Will work 3 days a week, days of the week are flexible. Shifts will be during standard business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Department: Located in Ogden at McKay Dee Stewart Rehab Center
Additional Details: Individual must have reliable transportation to complete shopping assignments.
Minimum Requirements
This position requires verifiable current Healthc! are Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR certification. An ori! ginal card must be verified prior to start date or the job offer will be withdrawn. For additional information regarding CPR requirements please visit our Job Requirements Page .
Reliable and insured transportation
Must have a valid Utah driver's license without record of suspension, revocation or denial. As part of the hiring process, Human Resources may collect a current Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
Carrying, Squatting/kneeling, Sitting, Speaking, Standing, Seeing, Pulling/Pushing, Manual dexterity, Lifting, Hearing/Listening
Preferred Qualifications
Pursuing an advance degree in Rehabilitation
One or more years rehab aide experience
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patient care experience
Completion! of one or more college level medical courses (i.e. anatomy, physical therapy, movement sciences, athletic training)
